What is dermaplaning and how does it work? it works?
Facial dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation technique that uses a sterile surgical blade, at a 45° angle, to remove the superficial layer of dead cells and fine downy hair from the face. The result is immediate: smoother, brighter skin with better absorption of any product applied afterward.
In my office in Alcabideche, the procedure follows four phases, each adapted to what your skin needs on that day.

Cleaning and preparation
I cleanse my skin with a cleansing gel suitable for its type (oily, dry or combination) to remove impurities and prepare the surface.

I use a sterile disposable blade, in controlled 45° passes, to remove dead skin cells and facial fuzz. The procedure is painless and does not cause cuts; the blade glides smoothly over the skin's surface.

After exfoliation, the skin absorbs up to 10 times more of the active ingredients. I apply a customized serum (antioxidant, moisturizing, or regenerating) according to the treatment goal.

SPF 50 to protect freshly exfoliated skin. I'll explain the care needed for the next 2-3 days: avoid direct sunlight and strong acids.
